DSS Network (NSW Statewide Territory | Newcastle or Sydney Based)

Join a major player in fuel and lubricant distribution and take ownership of a key Distributer Supplied Sites (DSS) network across New South Wales

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of Distributer Supplied Sites (DSS) within the Lowes Petroleum and bp network.
This is a specialised account management role, balancing customer relationship management, contract oversight, and network growth through high standards of service delivery and compliance.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact for DSS dealers, ensuring ongoing commercial performance, site compliance, and strategic expansion of the network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of Distributer Supplied Sites (DSS)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the dealer network, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention
  • Oversee contract processes and monitor status to ensure continuity of accounts under agreement
  • Conduct on-site audits to verify compliance with Lowes and bp brand standards
  • Identify and acquire new sites in line with company policies and procedures
  • Liaise with internal teams, bp management, external contractors, and regulatory authorities to support site rebrands, refreshes, and conversions
  • Provide regular business reporting and insights through CRM and BI systems

About You

  • Minimum 5 years’ B2B sales experience in account management or business development
  • Background in the wholesale fuel industry, with knowledge of fuel products, storage, and transportation
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate a clear value proposition in a competitive market
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to engage multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a large portfolio of accounts using CRM systems and structured call cycles
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret business results and generate actionable insights
  • Familiarity with contract negotiation, terms, and execution (typically five-year agreements)
